QR codes that never expire
A free QR code generator with no sign-up. Your link goes straight into the code — no redirects, no trial, nothing anyone can switch off.
Will your existing QR code expire?
Many “free” generators make a code that points to their server, then switch it off when a trial ends. Upload a photo or screenshot of any QR code to see where it really goes.
Questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. Your content is encoded directly into the pattern. There's no link to our servers inside it, so there's nothing for anyone to turn off. The code will work as long as the website it points to does.
What's the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?
A static code contains your actual link or text. A dynamic code contains a short link to the generator's own server, which redirects to your link. That lets them change or track it, but if their service stops, or your trial or subscription ends, every printed copy stops working. justqr.dev only makes static codes.
Is it really free? Can I use the codes commercially?
Yes, and yes. There's no account, no watermark and no limit. Use the codes on menus, flyers, packaging, business cards, anything.
Do you see or store what I put in the code?
No. The code is generated in your browser and your content never leaves your device. The checker only sends a link to our server if it finds one, so it can follow the redirects.
How do I make a QR code for my Wi-Fi?
Choose Wi-Fi, enter the network name and password, and print the code. Guests point their phone camera at it to join; no typing needed.
Which error correction level should I use?
Medium suits most uses. Choose High if the code will be printed small, on a curved or rough surface, or somewhere it might get scuffed. Higher levels make the pattern denser.
My old QR code stopped working. Can I fix it?
Use the checker above to see where it was pointing. If it went through a QR company's redirect, make a new static code for your real website here and replace the printed one. A static code can't be held hostage again.
